We will meet at Barcelona-Sants train station and once the group is complete, we will travel by train to Sitges. Friday 24/4/’26: Gastronomy at its best

In the morning, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast at our villa. Those who wish can take a refreshing dip in the pool. Our private driver will take us to the heart of the famous Penedès wine region. We will visit a local “finca”, where our Dutch-speaking guide Ilona will take us through the rolling eco-vineyards full of stories. You will discover why this region is the cradle of many quality wines. Of course, we will end with a tasting of some refined local wines.

Free lunch in Sitges (optional). In the afternoon, Dieter takes you on a leisurely stroll along the Sitges promenade, full of fascinating facts and local anecdotes about the charming coastal town known for its bohemian lifestyle, artists and famous gay scene. We relax for a while on the beach or with a glass of bubbly overlooking the sea. In the evening, we will enjoy a dinner show in Sitges full of spectacle, glitz and glamour.

Saturday 25/4/'26: Catalan culture

After breakfast, Dieter will take you to the village of Castellet with its panoramic views and charming castle. Then we will visit the seaside resort of Vilanova i la Geltrú, which has one of the longest Ramblas in the region. The ideal moment for some beautiful photos! Free lunch in the city.

In the afternoon, we will enjoy the swimming pool at our villa (or, optionally, you can join us on a hike through the Garraf Natural Park). In the evening, we will bring out our inner chefs and prepare our own paella in our luxury villa, under the guidance of an experienced cook.

Sunday 26/4/'26: Highlights of Barna

After breakfast, we check out of our villa in Sant Pere de Ribes. We take the train back to where our trip began: Barcelona! We check into our charming city hotel and find a nice place for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will discover the highlights of the city with Dieter during a delightful e-bike tour. Free dinner with tapas (optional).

Monday 27/4/’26: Barcelona & Montjuïc

The day begins with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. In the late morning, Dieter takes you on a pleasant walk on Montjuïc hill, where the 1992 Olympic Games put Barcelona on the map. Here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the city! We end the day with a nice drink.

If you wish, you can join us for lunch with Basque pintxos (optional). Afterwards, you can fill in your own programme: a visit to one of Gaudí's buildings, a museum of your choice or a pleasant walk through the local neighbourhoods of Barcelona. Free dinner at the Mexican restaurant near our hotel (optional).

Tuesday 28/4/’26: Architecture at its best

Ready for an architectural gem? We head to the Hospital de Sant Pau, a former hospital that has become the largest modernist complex in the world. Not Gaudí, but just as impressive. This is a piece of world heritage in Art Nouveau style that is truly impressive.

Free lunch. Afterwards, you'll have the whole afternoon and evening to yourself. You can relax by the sea at the popular gay beach Mar Bella, plan one last cultural visit or stroll through the neighbourhoods. There's plenty to choose from!
